  1. Yeah I was like this has to be a sign for men cause my dog groomer is like $100 and my haircut is…much more than that.

  2. I spend a roll of nickels behind target. Can you send me the info on the Walmart guy?

  3. Thanks for the heads up. I don't normally do heavy metal, but this was worth the listen.

  4. Also don't do heavy metal. More of a funk/jazz person, but System of a Down is incredible.

  5. Tree guy here. Nothing like going down after a storm. Power out, trees in living rooms, looks like a bomb went off. You can make life changing money doing it too. Just always felt weird making a profit off of a disaster. Talk about some wild ass work though. Good lord. Running a chainsaw next to a china cabinet is something I’ll never forget.

  6. Can you elaborate? I feel like there's a story here.

  7. I have a Pixel 5 and I specifically bought it because it was smaller than some of the others on the market. I don't like feeling like I'm talking into a brick and it fits in my front pocket easily enough. Perfect for my needs and I am already mourning the day I have to replace it.

  8. I can't imagine operating a phone without a back fingerprint reader for swiping up and down the notification panel. My pixel 4a just broke yesterday and there are no more options for a back scanner.

  9. Pixel 5 refurb on Amazon. It's a little old but still has all the best.

  10. Her favorite activity is watching the Braves play! They sent her an amazing birthday gift :)

  11. Let's go bravos. Ill buy you both cheap tickets and take care of parking next time you visit.

  12. Heck yes. I commute 50mi/day and plug in for free at work everyday. Front row parking and free gas. Add that to never paying for brakes and oil changes.

  13. Others have answered but yes, the car uses the motors to generate electricity, slowing the car down and stopping it. It is truly one pedal driving. I can go for weeks without touching the brake pedal.

  14. Think carefully. How would you even design a rocket engine test to failure? I mean a deliberate test to absolute failure? Run the engine for a longer time until it blows up? Run the engine with a different fuel that it is not designed to use? Install substandard parts or materials? What would be the point?

  15. How do you find out the limit of anything without testing to failure? For instance, if I make a new steel alloy. How do I know how it's tensile strength? Stretch it til it breaks!

  16. https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/burden-of-proof

  17. Did that guy actually read your posts to see your profession or did I get whooshed? If so, kinda sad.

  18. Ahh so this is that "locker room talk" us ladies miss out on LOL carry on boys, this is fantastic.

  19. I might be down there when it launches. Where is this bridge? Thanks

  20. Please, the launch need to be delayed. I won't be able to watch it on Monday.

  21. Aight guys. Meet at this guy's house at 0100 with the pitchforks.

  22. Well, we waited for 6 years so a few days won't kill us. I was waiting for next Half Life game for 13 years and I know I will be waiting for the next one at least another decade. We are the masters in waiting for things that we know will never happen. What a stupid coincidence that I had always the means and time to see watch it in the last 6 years, but it has to launch on the one day I won't be able to.

  23. Woke up in my car at 7AM this morning in space view park. Nasaspaceflight stream still somehow running. First thing I heard was "despite these delays, we may still be able to launch". Bad wakeup.

  24. Comments in here a fucking disgusting. Lots of people admitting to DUI’s and even more saying this sentence is harsher than usual, meaning the average punishment is a complete joke. Dudes get more time for dime bags of weed.

  25. I've had a DUI. I'm sorry to everyone I endangered. I got out of some standard discipline and am thankful for that, but the financial hit was rough... And it should be. Ubers are cheap. Risking killing someone is not. Never risking that again.

  26. Yeah wtf is a chili boat and why did she think she would need one?

  27. A Welsh Rarebit? Not watching again to see which one it is.

  28. pulls out the plainest cup of all this one’s my favorite :)

  29. Take all of the 5¢ 1.5oz metal ramekins you want. But if that bitch has any of my Tuxton 3.5 oz black/eggshell scalloped ramekins, I will find her.

  30. Not an advert. They're openly discussing the shrinking of the dish and price change. But most of these type posts are adverts, so I feel ya.

  31. It keeps being touted as the evolution of the saturn 5, which its not. Its an overpriced under performjng platform that should have been fixed years ago. Its going to become another space shuttle, in terms of budgetary problem.

  32. I get it is an unrelated rocket, almost unrelated to the space shuttle as well. But using our first trips to the moon as inspiration and comparison with the second US moon shot is perfectly allowable for PR purposes.

  33. My consolation puts you at 2/2 upvotes. Good luck on your next launch!

  34. This is pretty specific but Scotch Commercial-grade Packing Tape. The Uline tape is fucking terrible.

  35. Most 3M products are awesome. Probably because they contain chemicals that we don't want to talk about. But 3M VHB double sided tape is one of the best adhesives on the planet. Literally holds the windows onto the Burj Khalifa.

  36. I used to do IT for medical trade shows. I'm kinda surprised you gave anything nice to say about Delta. I literally got to the point that I flat out told our execs that I wasn't willing to fly anything except Jet Blue and if they had to find someone else to fill my role because of that I understand and would happily resign without any bad feelings. I got zero push back and found out my opinion was shared by most of the execs. A few years before that, I also personally got United banned from even being offered as an option because of one horrific event in Chicago. I simply meant to make it so they wouldn't ever book ME on United but enough of us complained that they were banned entirely.

  37. Delta has it's flaws but is still somehow by far the best.

  38. I think China is already on that without permission.

  39. Every time I go to the grocery store, I get more irate that I can hardly find vegetables that aren't packed in some kind of plastic. Shrink-wrapped broccoli? A head of butter lettuce in a plastic clamshell.. then the loose fruit/veg are intended to be placed into the bags-on-a-roll. I shouldn't have to manage plastics just because I want some leafy greens. I'm in no way arguing against your point, those things are still pretty miniscule. As somewhat of an aside, I studied some water treatment policies for a work project, and in the particular region I investigated, "commercial use" pollution restrictions don't even apply until a factory's water consumption exceeds 20,000 gallons a day.

  40. Maybe cut your losses and go for the bag on a roll. There's like half a gram of plastic in that vs the styrofoam tray and shrink wrap the corn is in.

  41. The only reason I’d think is that SLS Block 2 is designed for quick delivery. With Starship you need refueling once on orbit otherwise you’re stuck in LEO (I think, may be wrong). SLS you’re like on Saturn V: you’ve only got like 40-50tons, but you’re already on a TLI course by the end of the burn sequence.

  42. I do generally agree with this, and will add that refueling adds complexity. But timescales don't matter bc they will all be factored in months or years ahead of time. These things will all balance out relatively automatically.
