Dealing with the same issue here but for UE5. Have you tried to bake the textures in?
Annoying that this photo keeps resurfacing. Been proven fake many times over.
Did you use Eevee Materials from kitops? Wonderful build
Can you simply select them all and then Ctrl-J? Should merge them, right?
UE5 has its own material system which is completely independent of Blender's (most 3D applications have their own systems for setting up PBR materials). You'll have to bake the textures and import them into UE5 as texture samples and set up a material there. Any material slots in your .FBX will appear as material slots in UE on the imported mesh, and you can plug any UE material into them. If any of this does not sound extremely straightforward then you should watch some tutorial videos on YouTube to familiarize yourself with UE's material system :)
Thank you for the reply on this one mate. Decently familiar with UEs material system, and the baking process is something that I’m attempting now. Easier said than done for me at this stage 👀 I’m using Kitops Eevee material system in blender that I’d love to bring over into UE, sadly no success yet. But again, I very much appreciate your insight on this!
Color ramp is considered a node, yeah. Basically anything you add within Blender to alter the texture image is a shader node and would need to be baked to the image before it'll export properly with the fbx.
