  1. I'd keep it somewhere nearby to know if it escaped. Think if it got out of a deep dark place and you're completely unaware. Then one day, blissfully unaware, it gets you.

  2. They're great but yet somehow the courts still often twist themselves in nots justifying why they ruled in favor of Christianity but won't apply that same logic to other religions.

  3. This right here is my fear. What do we have left at that point? Rioting?

  4. CompuServe would like a word with you.

  5. I also wonder if there's a modicum of survivorship bias in there. The good ones you never hear or think about since they buy their stuff, get in, and get out. So retail workers are left dealing with those who have issues, which most likely are disproportionately the worst ones.

  6. Usually you pour concrete right onto the pipes. Absolutely no space left for anything else.

  7. And frankly if the mouse starts chewing through concrete, I'm gonna be more worried about the mouse than a leak.

  8. What the hell does 'Tauntaun' even mean?

  9. In the Star Wars movie Empire Strikes Back, in order to save one of the characters from freezing, another cuts open the animal they were riding and puts them inside its guts to keep them warm. The name of said animal in that universe is called a "tauntaun"

  10. Oh this i gotta hear. What's their reasoning?

  11. I understand that. It's more about splitted them into 2 mandatory yet seperate $10 subscriptions. My car didn't not come with a key fob that has remote start so it's either pay two subs or aftermarket.

  12. Okay, but you do agree there should at least be some cost to offset things. I've had people argue it should be completely free for the life of the car. All the latter would do would be to jack up the base price for everyone.

  13. Yes I'm paying the subscriptions because I want the features. It's just scummy that they seperate them into two packages and outright require both for any remote features.

  14. Sitting here in Australia feeling slightly disturbed by the fact that you can drive across an entire country in 7 hours. I can’t even get out of my state in 7 hours lol.

  15. Are they actually producing these yet? If not, why is it taking so long? Have people got indefinite pre-orders or something?

  16. Scope creep. Apparently they're now adding boat functionality to it...

  17. I love how almost everyone on this post is "you don't mess with band instruments".

  18. Well that's new. I have a Z690 Taichi and it didn't have those stickers on them.

  19. Sadly not enough hair in parts to pull that off!

  20. outside of memes i will never understand people's enjoyment of that series. not a criticism i'm genuinely curios, i have friends who say they like the series but i just cannot get it, i stopped around season 2 or 3 when it became the ainz steamrolls the medeival world show

  21. Not bad, still lagging behind but it's the first time intel is jumping in i wouldn't expect parity with nvidia and amd right away

  22. I also thought I read somewhere that Intel wasn't targeting enthusiast level, at least to start. Their goal was going to be affordable entry and mid-tier. Which frankly I welcome because the price of even 60-level cards has gone insane.

  23. I live in a city that is home to both Army northern and southern command, all Air Force basic training, most all DoD medical training, Air Force flight training, Air Force Electronic Security command, an NSA facility, most likely a CIA black site... My only option would be to sit back and wait to be vaporized.

  24. I used to spend almost 6 hours on the treadmill daily and couldn't lose a lb. Why? Because I ate way more to reward myself and it canceled out. You need to restrict calories too and now I'm losing weight fast.

  25. I try to tell that to people and they argue with me all the time. At the end of the day, calories out need to exceed calories in. That's all there is to it. Diets are a way of making sure you feel full and get what you need while eating less calories and exercise is a way of burning more calories. But it always comes down to CICO. That's also why things like IF tend to be effective as you're greatly dropping your intake by basically skipping a meal.

  26. Yeah, I started paying attention to calories a bit this year and the weight has been going down. It's pretty easy. I didn't really change much, just eat a bit less, cut out a couple of things I didn't really need, reduce the size of some things, etc.

  27. They tend to focus on the effectiveness of the diet. Most tend to argue with keto: "well once your body enters ketosis....". The basis is still the same.

  28. This is no easier than using the standard carry for a sheet - if the sheet is on my right side I use right hand underneath and left hand on top.

  29. It's for those people who don't have a "standard carry". I have plenty of clamps like that but nothing that could help me carry a large sheet like this. This is a good idea for those who need something in a pinch.

  30. So how do you count Tanya's age? That of just the body (11) or the body + soul (11 + 30s), given that he remembers everything from his previous life.

  31. You could even go to everybody being millions of years old, since the atoms in everyone's body are as old as the universe.

  32. Do you personally remember experiencing said billions of years? That's a non-sequetor.

  33. And the crazy part is, he's not even the worst villain.

  34. Besides Father, who would you give that title too?

  35. This is why in my data centre builds, the cages go from the concrete floor, to the concrete ceiling, not just to the raised floor and false ceiling, and before taking delivery of a cage, I crawl around in both floor and ceiling and check.

  36. Easy enough to drop under the raised floor, cut out a section there and then pop up from a raised tile.... Not like I've had to do just that or anything... No sir, not at all.

  37. This is true, but it certainly makes it harder, and will be picked up on camera motion sensor zones

  38. There's a strawberry festival just south of San Antonio in a small town called Poteet. This would be perfect for it!

  39. I respect a fruit that tries to eat me as I'm eating it.
