$6.5MM per commercial for minimal exposure to a new market. Thatโs a horrible idea! Youโre not going to find 10-50k new gamers that donโt know about GameStop from the SuperBowl. Even at 30k new gamers that $217 per acquisition. They would need to buy a PowerUp rewards subscription, a new console with warranty, multiple physical game disks, and a few Funko or plushy collectibles to even break even.

Since I am up at 2:45 AM every single day, I was fully awake since the pre market opened at 4 AM eastern. I was watching it on marketwatch, and told myself I was going to buy inโฆ to be let known that I couldnโt buy any shares until AFTER they turned off the buy button, in which case I bought my shares for $335 a share and I bought 3 of them (I made less than 40k a year take home), so that was huge for me. 3 shares for almost $1,000. And then I saw it all run from me, because they turned off the fucking buy button.
