Unexpectedly Ikki-gang!!
This game made almost everyone become a Yukito's enjoyer lmao ๐ I recommend playing Kazuma's route first because posterboy route. Harumi and Yukito both have solid routes. Chiyuki and Harumi work in the same field so they resonate a lot with each other, I personally think Harumi suits her best. Yukito- Welp, get this man a crowd for being the king and the only one who has a brain and common sense ๐ I recommend playing Yukito before Riku cause you will meet Yukito a lot in Riku's route. Having known Yukito for who he is you might appreciate him more and understand why he speaks and acts like that. So Kazuma > Harumi > Yukito > Riku is my recommendation.

Combat animation and diversity in weapons
I'm a low spender (about 1500 bucks) playing from launch and have only been able to do volt team with lin a6 since launch. Sure if your a whale you might have the pleasure of diversity in weapons but the player in my crew who changes weapons regularly is our commander who spend 20k on the game. I play for a lot of reasons but quickly realized diversity in weapons is not one of them even though I hoped it would be.
I'm a f2p so I don't even have a copy on any weapons bruh. I mostly roll for the weapon that I love their playstyle and watching friends play the others. Seeing people playing different weapons with variety of animation enlighten me, it doesn't necessary be me to own the weapons to fully enjoy the game.
I played POTBB and POTAH back to back and didn't touch another otome for over 3 months. I am so sad we'll probably never see a third game because I felt like the Charlie Day in the mail room meme trying to connect all the dots about the world building.
If they ever had the third game, we would know about the witch origin and how the psychedelica worked. Hikage has 1 red eye just like Jed because they own that respective psychedelica (?) and "witch" is just a way to identify the owner? I have many theories and questions AND GODDAMN OT*MATE PLS LET ME KNOW, I DON'T NEED A THIRD GAME, I JUST NEED A NOVEL OR BLOG OR STH TO ANSWER THESE
FWIW, they actually do address that point about them not being real and whether there was meaning to what they went through in the Epilogue. Though whether it'll feel satisfactory or you buy it isn't guaranteed (since it's obviously up to the individual reading it to make that call).
Basically the epilogue and the fandisc has the answers for her questions, but it clearly impossible for someone to lose interest to continue buying the next part. So your comment made a good job

I'm so excited for Jack Jeanne, and there's any chance its success can encourage Broccoli to let their other otome games be localized like Uta no Prince-Sama and Kamigami no Asobi, it will be spectacular. Thank goodness Jack Jeanne finally broke through Broccoli's stance on not allowing a single otome game to be available overseas.

alright so first of all, i love all of the boys. that's my disclaimer. because of the structure of the game (event based, majority of the game is the common route), it's hard to rank the routes a lil bit for me but all of them were absolutely rock solid for me personally (i cried during all of their routes).
I love angsty route, so it's a win-win for me yes ๐คค

Yukito Sena from Lover Pretend. He's sharp, he's kind, he has a clear goal towards his dream and he works hard and smartly for it.
I enjoyed his route so much more than I thought I would. Heโs also great in other routes, which I always love!
The only red flag about him is that he's a womanizer, but we know that he knows how to turn other girls' invitation down skillfully, and also, he's only flirt to dig out information from them. Beside that, this man screams green flags lol

Yukito definitely has the best emotional intelligence. I thought the MC was already keen in that area but Yukito was a step far ahead.
Even in Riku's route Yukito still shines brightly. Idc what people trash about this game, I found a gem named Yukito Sena in this and his existence honestly saved the game for me
I just complete Riku's route and OHMYGOD SENA YUKITO MADE ME FALL FOR HIM AGAIN IN AN ANOTHER LI'S ROUTE ๐ญ He wants to have a date with Chiyuki to learn about the cast list (which is his acting career, not for personal feelings), but then when he saw her being troubled over something he's nice enough to want her to enjoy the moment, the date. Then when Riku appeared he's the first one to realize Riku had sth for Chiyuki so Yukito did some bold action and sharp words to provoke both of them. HE'S SO SHARP BEFORE-IN AND AFTER THE PRETEND TIME. Then his last words before saying good bye is all about his acting career too. In the ending he's playing around joking cheerfully with both Chiyuki and Riku to tease them, but still leave the most important remark: "where's the engagement ring". OH MY LORD YUKITO YOUR EXISTENCE (and Harumi's) SAVES THIS GAME FOR ME AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Kokichi, cause Shuichi is my first
I like how characters in V3 carried each other in different ways. Kaito's way to save everyone was to raise their spirits up, to trust each other and not to be consumed by despair. Shuichi's way was to find the truth, so that no one died meaninglessly during class trials. Kokichi's way was to find out what was happening to the world and to them, so there would be motive left to kill each other. Everyone had their roles to play, and thanks to that my boy Shuichi had no one to help him during class trials, further made his back pain from carrying everyone severe.
And she's voiced by a "he". 100/10

PoBB and PoAH is a yes. I really want them to release the 3rd part which will def not gonna happen ๐ญ PoBB has more romance and the plot is balanced, not too complex not too simple. PoAH has better world building and preview more of what psychedelica is, but it lacked romance and it was over-written (you have to dig more into manga and fan theories to understand). Maybe bc the 2nd part is a prologue for the 3 part I guess, so they threw in a bunch of information. However I love PoAH more, Yuiga's art improved a lot there, the soundtrack's nice and the MC has more depth. 7'scarlet is a meh, not worth it. The plot is weak, the MC is bland, mysteries were unsolved and yada yada.
Eh Mouten's hair is back????
Hara has always colorized Mouten's hair as light brown/red-ish and the anime just followed suit so now his hair is canonically that color despite it looking jet black in the manga
I mean the lenght ๐ But I just revisited older chapters and realized his back hair has always been long, just the side hair has been cut short. Welp there ruined my hope ๐ฅฒ
