Someone explain for those of us that prefer facts rather than doomsday predictions how a CFO selling 1/6th of his shares that were awarded as compensation, at a price that is median for the past year even resembles a p&d

  1. Back in October 2007, sometime in the first week or 2, I was walking at night and this massive green meteor buzzed overhead. It was fucking massive. Like if you look up and run your fist over your head closer to your face, that’s how big it looked in the sky. I have never found anything on the internet about it. It was so big, like destroy humanity big…and nothing about it.

  2. Not OP but that shot was taken in the Dolomiti di Sesto, somewhere along the trail linking Rifugio Zsigmondy-Comici and Rifugio Pian di Cengia. Hiked the area quite extensively last summer. If you're into more challenging trails, I recommend you the Strada degli Alpini, a via ferrata carved through almost vertical walls during the First World War. Btw, the mountain in the background is Croda dei Toni, 3094m.

  3. I literally just booked accommodation this week to stay here! Can I pick your brain on other via Ferrata routes you recommend?

  4. I thought that was an umbrella at first 🤣

  5. That is sexy. One of the best uses of public/shared space I've seen ever.

  6. I’m not certain but some of the multipurpose room shots remind me of the Melbourne Convention Center in Australia. I had the pleasure of working under the mechanical contractor on that construction project. It was my first job out of college. Working out how air change was affected by the different types of seating arrangements was fun, since the volume of the space and the max occupancy changed with each different layout. And there was a fair bit of room under the floors too. The entire under floor space acted as a plenum, and air passed through tiny holes in the floor.

  7. Honestly my core memories from childhood consisted of waking up early and my dad making me go back to sleep lol

  8. One of my favorite Christmas Christmas memories/traditions as a kid: waking up at 6am with my sisters and sit on a bed talking about how excited we were for Christmas. The door to the room where the Christmas tree lived was closed with a giant ribbon. All the curtains in the room were drawn too, so you couldn’t sneak a peek of the tree and presents from outside. Once everyone was awake, we (mom) would make a phenomenal breakfast and we weren’t allowed to open any presents, let alone see if Santa even came, until we finished breakfast and cleaned up. It was such sweet torture. Finally, when it was time for the big reveal, we would all gather in front of the door with the ribbon on it, untie the ribbon and viola! Soak in the view of presents under the tree that were definitely not there the night before, the plate of cookies and carrots half eaten, and a note from Santa himself. It was mind blowing every year.

  9. “Will the audience please stop aiming laser pointers at the handlers?”

  10. 1.) For him, it‘s a question of perspective I guess. His perspective is, that 'public places' belong to everyone.

  11. This graphic was originally done on the side of an auto mechanic’s garage. Not exactly public property. I like and appreciate the messages he conveys, but Banksy himself is a fukin hypocrite.

  12. Crows are like the size of pigeons. Ravens are like the size of chickens. When flying, a crow’s tail is shaped like a hand fan. A raven’s tail is more pointy, almost diamond shaped.

  13. Did you seriously dub each of the sounds in this? Including the plant rustling and squeaks? That's so impressive! How long did it take you?

  14. Thanks! Whole process took about an hour. I found the outdoor ambience and tie fighter online, used one of my dogs toys for the squeak sounds, and emulated the bush/ivy sounds using some dried leaves. Recorded once for squeaks, and a second time for bushes, and adjusted the audio timing as needed so it would sync. It’s not the cleanest but it was fun :).

  15. I'm confused as to what kind of hospital has both this insane garden and roving coyotes

  16. I remember waiting in line for a computer to free up at the computer lab so I could work on my report. And all works cited came from actual books I dug up in the library.

  17. Wow. You’re a really talented film maker. I couldn’t look away.

  18. Thank you for the kind words! If you haven’t already, you should see it in person! This was in Canyonlands and Bears Ears, Utah

  19. Music actually by the Automator if you're going to use just the instrumental

  20. Oh dang, that’s right! My apologies to Dan the Automator for not crediting him!

  21. Topless men but not topless women. I loathe the double standard. If I’m not allowed to walk around with my shirt off then I don’t think anybody should be allowed.

  22. Can’t afford to move to a tropical climate? Move the tropical climate to you!!

  23. You’re thinking CFC’s, CFO is a model of motorcycle.
