Heartbroken at the loss of my beautiful Bengal, Floyd. He has an enlarged heart and went into heart failure Christmas day. He was hospitalized and put on oxygen. He succumbed to his illness today, the doctors suspect a blood clot causes his heart to stop. It was quick and painless. He was so brave.

Oh no Floyd. He’s so beautiful. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. We lost a 1yo girl Bengal to lymphoma. It is painful.

Oooo ya. We had a Bengal before them so we know the drill. Somehow this is easier because they play with each other. It’s definitely mayhem though. They are like puppies but we love it.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s so traumatic and painful. There is no sugarcoating it. Our 1 YO Bengal died in July. Pleural effusion but we found out it was from a tumor caused by FeLV. My heart goes out to you.

I’m so, so sorry. I know this pain. Look for signs from your orange baby. My baby girl Zazu died at age ONE from lymphoma on 7/27. I see feathers everywhere and started collecting them in her honor. Sending you soooo much light and love right now.
Totally normal. It will take days/weeks. One thing that may put him at ease is a Feliway plugin. It helps spread familiar pheromones. To make you feel better, we brought home two bengal boys from the same litter on August 27th. They will come out and play with my fiance and I, but absolutely won't let us touch them and they will scurry under the bed if we enter the room. Even with having each other, no kids in the house, giant cat tree, all the toys they could have + blankets with familiar smell from their breeder, they're still scared. They're babies. Good luck!!!

We feed our boys grain free Wellness brand turkey can + a handful of shredded boiled chicken (we boil chicken every few days + add a cup of the water to keep the chicken moist). Feed them both on one plate.

I am so, so sorry to hear this. My heart goes out for you. My baby girl Bengal, Zazu, died on 7/27 at only 1 year old from lymphoma. She was suffering and we had to make an immediate decision. As long as Cheeto isn’t suffering and his prognosis isn’t too costly, support him in his last few years. Cats can really pull through with a big crazy cat miracle. Let’s see where this goes for now…. Praying for you❤️.
