  1. Is it ok to use pe foam on PCB? Some people said it causes damage because of the static electricity.

  2. I haven't had any troubles with it, been doing it for most of my keyboards. I believe it just comes down to how well you preserve your keebs. Thankfully I live in a very dry place and don't have to worry about humidity affecting the keeb's condition. But if you're still worried about it, maybe you can use PE foam pads instead of the sheets you see on Amazon.

  3. I have one from my monitor packaging (mymonitor was inside it) but I don't know if it's Anti Static or not.

  4. White PE foam is not anti-static. Only black and pink are anti. I buy a thin roll of PE foam (white) from amazon and buy PE foam pads from a keyboard vendor. So, if you're super worried, the PE foam pads would be the way to go. Those for sure will not fry your PCB, just a lot more work since you individually need to stick it in place.

  5. Do you have by any chance any extra case for the Mode65?

  6. Nope, just what I have listed is all I have from Mode Designs.

  13. It's definitely preference. But here's what I learned from the past 2 years of switch collecting. Top clackiest switches = Gateron CJ Poms & Durock Pom Linears & Durock T1s, on a budget? Don't worry, gateron milky/cap yellows & Akko switches are cheaper alternatives. As for thocky... this is a bit tricky to get, there's no such thing as a thocky switch, you will need to mod your keyboard wth certain mods, easiest being the tempest tape mod, to achieve "thocky". So with that being said, the deepest stock sound profile, IMO, would be the Gazzew Boba U4Ts & Boba Linear Thocks. Most people would probably say Gateron Black Inks, but they're not exactly "thocky", only in a heavy modded keyboards. As for budget options, as of right now, I only know KTT Strawberry as a good deep stock sound profile. All of this is my opinion and it all boils down to preference. And just because a switch is more expensive, it doesn't mean it's better! Sorry for the long essay. 😊
