I retired from a large company last year in December. My last day at work was December 17. My coverage with my company continued until the end of month because coverage is by the month. Then I started cobra in January. You said your coverage ends on 12/1. Could it be possible that your coverage will continue throughout December because your last pay period includes one day in December? Friday 12/1? That would have been the case at my company. But I wouldn’t count on that. Especially since it is such a loosely organized organization. But could be possible. So you should check.
My last day of work already passed and it was at the start of this month, so my coverage I guess is like until midnight I would suppose of the last day of November
I’ve had to sign up for COBRA twice in my life and both times it’s been a pain in the ass.

Dentist here! It depends on the type of material of the crown how easily it comes off but you’ll be numbed first and then the crown (or in your case - half of a crown) is sectioned apart with a bur in a hand piece, and then those fragments can be removed!

I totally feel you because I’m the same way and I have a constant impulse to go online shopping, but I feel like right now it’d be best to refrain from buying non-essential items online just out of courtesy to our postal workers and those at the warehouses who package the stuff you buy. Of course we’re all free to do what we want with our money and no one can stop us (yet), but it’s just my personal preference and hey it saves me money! :)
