What is your favorite novel?

  1. Persuasion by Jane Austen. I am the Cinderella of my family, and in this novel, the Cinderella of her family scores big-time.

  2. Did you see this is getting a Netflix version being released July 15th? I just about cried this morning when I saw the trailer. I’m counting down the days!

  3. I can’t really pick but some would be Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, State of Wonder by Ann Patchett, You Must Remember This by Joyce Carol Oates, and The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides

  4. I love Ann Patchett. I read State of Wonder for the first time in high school and then again this year, and while I loved it the first time, I had missed so much emotional nuance.

  5. It ends with us for the emotional part, the spanish love deception for the funny side and just finished beach read. Love the characters and their love story!! Just started reading People we meet on vacation

  6. A YA series that I’ve never grown out of reading, the Uglies. I’ve reread the series 5 or 6 times

  7. Mine is Jane Eyre. I read it over the holidays one year and couldn’t put it down. It was the most beautiful, heart wrenching, and deep book I’ve ever read.

  8. Hard to decide! Off the top of my head, it would either be Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier or The Road by Cormac McCarthy.

  9. “The Giver” —>Guys, please read it if you haven’t. It’s an amazing dystopian book with a beautiful ending. (Also, there are three more books after that are also good.) —>The movie is great too!

  10. 'The Alchemist' - Paulo Coelho, I bought it out of curiosity at a charity shop and it changed my life. Its a book I read whenever my life gets too complicated.
