Why don't some bars accept cash payments anymore?

  1. Cash has always been a liability. My restaurant does 40-50k sales per night, and there’s a lot of room for error and opportunity for theft with a team that big. Plus constant trips to the bank for change. You’d spend hours and hours counting cash, making change, balancing cash drawers, refilling the safe… They say it’s cashless to limit the transmission of Covid, but I know they don’t give a shit about Covid. Cash is just a pain in the ass sometimes.
